Dogs, Canadians, and other important things
Somebody absolutely must give these two dogs a home: Molson and Golden. They couldn’t be more Canadian unless they were named “Blue” and “Labatts”, and they deserve a place to live with endless supplies of back bacon and maple syrup. I’m not positive that dogs like maple syrup, but my Dante is extremely passionate about honey (and takes any available opportunity to steal the honey bear off the kitchen counter), so I think maple syrup might go over pretty well.
I was very excited to have my blog signed by a real stranger (i.e. someone I’ve never given a gift to), and a Canadian stranger at that! I then had a chance to visit said-stranger’s blog, and it was an excellent site devoted to blogs written by ex-pat Canadians. It was good to know that I’m not the only person concerned about the Coffee Crisp situation (although you can now find Coffee Crisp manufactured in England at Cost Plus). I’m really looking forward to reading the thoughts of Canadians outside Canada, and non-Canadians living in Canada. Most of all, I want to know if everyone else feels the Tie Domi love?
It’s been a good web surfing day for me as I found two sites recommending outdoor/adventure/non-fiction books of the type I really love to read. I’ve already read a few of them, but got many more suggestions from The Environmental Literacy Council reading list and Outside magazines, “The 25 (Essential) Books for the Well-Read Explorer”. I wish I could figure out a way to read faster, because there are just so many titles I can’t wait to get to.
Thank you for mentioning Canadian Expatriates on your site. I am hoping to find some more Expats who would be interested in contributing to the blog to offer a few differing prespectives on everything from politics and current events to every day observations.
Like yours, our house has definitely gone to the animals. We have two dogs (a Jack Russell and a Border Collie) and four birds. I think that it is great that you are doing what you can to aid in finding homes for adoptable pets!
Thanks again!
