Look who’s three weeks old
Carlo and Bunny are finally three weeks old! As you can see, they’re both pretty solid and sturdy, although Carlo (on the left) is still about two and a half ounces lighter than his hefty sister. Both continue to eat well… Carlo will probably be the first to wean, as he’s already interested in solid food, and enjoys drinking out of a water dish (if he doesn’t lean in too far and get water up his nose).
Doesn’t Carlo resemble Mon Chi Chi?
Yes, he does. I’ve been trying to figure out whom he resembled since the first photo, and I think you’ve nailed it. They look great! Happy weaning.

they are both adorable, and Yeah Carlo. He is a fighter.Posted by Ilona on 04/14 at 07:51 AMMon Chichi! I had one when I was a kid...and that’s actually one of Salem’s (many, many) nicknames.
Such cute babies. Does Bunny have little meezer points? Hard to tell....
Posted by Helena on 04/14 at 08:10 AMSoooooo cute! They both look so fit and well. You are doing a great job.
Posted by Von Krankipantzen on 04/14 at 10:32 AMSuch cuties! BIG eyes, tiny ears, and that sorta baffled look on their faces. Glad Carlo decided to thrive after all.
Posted by Victor Tabbycat on 04/14 at 10:47 AMI thought Bunny was going to end up with “points”, but she’s changing things up as she grows. Her tail is grey, but the tip is white. She does have grey paws, but as you can see in the photo (especially on her left paw), she’s also got some white toes. Her muzzle is turning grey, except for the parts which aren’t turning grey! She’s going to be very interesting looking when she grows up!
Carlo is still very tiny, although it’s hard to tell from this picture. He weighs 8.2 oz., but his sister weighs 12 oz. Bunny is growing exponentially larger—at one point she was two oz. heavier, then two and a half, and now she’s almost four ounces heavier than Carlo. I need to find a picture of the two of them side-by-side so you can see the difference.
I still think Carlo could have some health problems because he grows so slowly. Other than slow growth, though, he’s developing normally and is doing all the things kittens are supposed to do at this age.
Posted by Leigh-Ann on 04/14 at 04:09 PMThey are just the sweetest looking kittens. For some reason I love that Bunny’s developing a ‘smudged’ look! It’s such a relief that Carlos is turning a corner. What a sweet and precious little guy!
Posted by Print on 04/14 at 09:05 PMOk I have to say that I am not at all a cat person, but they are so adorable. Very cute indeed.
