The Amazing Race
Close on the heels of Sunday’s “Survivor” finale, was tonight’s finale of “The Amazing Race”. What a horrible, dull season it was! My favourite two teams finished first and second though, proving that God hates whiners, even Christian ones. The last challenge tonight was a a large map of North and Central America, and the players had to place all states, provinces, and countries on the map in their correct places. This isn’t quite as difficult, but feel free to try your hand at the interactive puzzle map of the United States. I’m very proud to say that my final result was 92% accuracy, with an average error of 8 miles. I actually placed every state perfectly except for Kansas, which was the very first state I was given, and it’s not easy to place a state when you’ve got no landmarks. I think being off by 24 miles on that was pretty good. I was also off by 10 miles on Pennsylvania, which was just sloppiness, as I didn’t make the northern end of the state touch Lake Erie properly. Not too bad for a Canadian!
I agree that this was a very boring season for The Amazing Race. I am hoping they revert to the old format next season.
