The day the pants were put on
Pants.
Today is November 12, 2006, and I was forced to wear pants for the first time since the spring. I’ve got slippers on my feet, too - I think the ice age is approaching. It’s only 73 degrees in our house, and we might have to shut off the A/C and turn on the furnace soon! A single tear runs down my cheek…
Ok.. you are been read by some one who is wearing fleece lined jeans with the outside temperature hovering about -5. Can I come and visit.
Posted by Coll on 11/13 at 07:36 AMI’m sorry. Really, I am. We had our 3rd snow fall this weekend and built a large snowman.
But we didn’t wear jeans.
Ok. Maybe we did. And parkas and gloves and boots and sweaters and hats.
Posted by Diana on 11/13 at 08:22 AMMom wears pants as much as she can. She hates nylons, specially since Bonnie wrecked 3 pairs in 1 week… while Mom was wearin them! Bonnie was a terror wif her claws, not careful like me.
Posted by Victor Tabbycat on 11/13 at 01:33 PMAt least I don’t leave white hair all ofur Mom’s good black slacks fur werk. As fur wreckin nylons, I did her a favor.
Posted by Bonnie Underfoot on 11/13 at 01:35 PMYou don’t need pants for the victory dance, ‘cause baboon’s better than weasel!!!
Posted by Helly on 11/13 at 07:02 PMColl, I hope to be able to find the Grey Cup game on TV this weekend—I’ll be thinking of you!
Posted by Leigh-Ann on 11/14 at 12:51 AMIce Age indeed--it’s getting downright chilly (unexpectedly early) here too!
Posted by Helena on 11/14 at 07:38 AMWhat were you wearing before? Skirts?
I kid.
Posted by celine on 11/14 at 08:19 AM"I kid.”
Naw, you’re not a kid anymore… you’re getting old like me.
