Bunny is spayed

Bunny was spayed this morning, at our usual vet clinic—the one where we feel comfortable, even if we have to pay a little extra. She’s been kept overnight and we’ll bring her home tomorrow, but the vet already called us with assurances that Bunny was doing great. As a bonus, the vet is giving me Bunny’s little kitty uterus in a jar of formaldehyde, to go with TJ’s kitty testicles! Soon, I’ll be able to build my very own hermaphoditic Frankenkitty…

How… nice for you. Good fur Bunny - best to go to the good vet. I’s bin watchin the male… that is, watchin the boy to see if he’s got any package. Nofing yet :-(

The post office is sympathizing with me because I don’t have a store website available yet. That’s why it’s delaying all shipments… it’s reading my mind.

Actually, it might be my fault, as I doubt the box was actually in the postal system until Tuesday. Maybe it will arrive today, or Saturday at the latest!

My name is Leigh-Ann, I'm Canadian, and I live in the United States. This gives me great insight on cross-border issues, like American vs. Canadian candy bars, and curling vs. golf. I enjoy coffee but not caffeine, as I like to think I'm agitated enough already. I think a day without Starbucks is a day without sunshine (there are no Tim Hortons here, so I make do with what I've got). I love animals and birds and fish and even most of the creepy crawlies on the sidewalk and in the garden, but I prefer it when they stay out of the house. I'm a veterinary technology student at Penn Foster, and I'm the Director of Wee Paws Animal Sanctuary. I bottle-feed lots of kittens, and try to find homes for society's less fortunate felines.
