Bunny’s doing great!

The title says it all: Bunny seems 100% recovered from her little incident of a couple of weeks ago. I’m so happy and so relieved, and I still feel a little surge of joy when she comes flying into the bedroom and flings herself up onto the cat tree like a maniac. It was a scary time for all of us, especially Bunny, and I hope we’ve put that behind us. Thank you everyone for being so supportive and for sending your good wishes—Bunny has a pretty big fan club, starting right here at home. If you want her to autograph a photo for you, let me know, although I can’t guarantee what she’ll autograph it with.

Fantastic news! Who would have thought the result would be so good. Is there any definitive word on the cause? It seemed it varied from possibly a stroke to a mild concussion. Regardless, I’m glad she proved to be such a sturdy little cat. Hopefully you’re both able to get some sleep now!

My name is Leigh-Ann, I'm Canadian, and I live in the United States. This gives me great insight on cross-border issues, like American vs. Canadian candy bars, and curling vs. golf. I enjoy coffee but not caffeine, as I like to think I'm agitated enough already. I love animals and birds and fish and even most of the creepy crawlies on the sidewalk and in the garden, but I prefer it when they stay out of the house. I completed the veterinary technology program at Penn Foster, and in 2004 I started Wee Paws Animal Sanctuary with the goal of eventually turning it into a farm-like sanctuary facility for 50+ "unadoptable" cats (we're at 24). Long story short, this is a cat blog, with a dose of dog and parrot, heavy on pet health care talk.
