Just one week until SuperZoo!
One of the joys of living in Las Vegas is the easy access to trade shows. Flippy and I love a good trade show, because they’re full of new products, new ideas, and (ahem) free samples! While CoffeeFest is safely #1 on our trade show hit parade, coming on rapidly is SuperZoo. Last year was our first visit to SuperZoo, and now that we know what to expect, I hope this year’s show will be even more productive for us. We’ve planned ahead, and will show up with a business license and business cards, and maybe we’ll find that one perfect item we can resell/distribute to generate some income.
SuperZoo doesn’t start until next week, but I was reminded of it this morning when the newspaper mentioned the Dick Van Patten will be attending to show off his new Eatables dog food. The food is apparently manufactured at a plant which makes “food for humans”, and Van Patten invented it by taking some popular human food recipes and then just supplementing them with extra vitamins and minerals to meet the nutritional needs of dogs. If Van Patten wants to send us home with a few cans of his dog food for us to test out on Phoenix and Cricket, I can guarantee he won’t have to do much arm-twisting. We’re nothing if not cooperative.
I have been feeding my dogs the Van Patten Natural Balance dog food for a couple of years.. and I have only good things to say about it. They also have a very good duck and potato variety that was a life saver for the little poodle with many many allergies that I used to have.
