Mmm, it’s peppermint mocha season!

Attention, all Kmart shoppers (and the rest of you): Peppermint Mocha season at Starbucks is now officially declared OPEN! Woo hoo! (yeah, it’s still 75 degrees outside… but the snowflakes on the cup make it seem at least 10 degrees cooler).

I’m a pumpkin spice gal myself (another “holiday” flavour they charge you more for.) I’ve been eyeing a peppermint mocha though…

Flippy likes the pumpkin and gingerbread, but I don’t really care for any of the “spiced” flavours. She likes chai, too, and while I can handle a sip or two of it, it’s nothing I’d ever choose to drink. We almost stopped going to Starbucks once we bought our Aeroccino milk frother, but the holiday drinks are luring us back in.

About Me

My name is Leigh-Ann, I'm Canadian, and I live in the United States. This gives me great insight on cross-border issues, like American vs. Canadian candy bars, and curling vs. golf. I enjoy coffee but not caffeine, as I like to think I'm agitated enough already. I think a day without Starbucks is a day without sunshine (there are no Tim Hortons here, so I make do with what I've got). I love animals and birds and fish and even most of the creepy crawlies on the sidewalk and in the garden, but I prefer it when they stay out of the house. I'm a veterinary technology student at Penn Foster, and I'm the Director of Wee Paws Animal Sanctuary. I bottle-feed lots of kittens, and try to find homes for society's less fortunate felines.
