The Emergency Vets are back!
If you were a fan of Animal Planet’s “Emergency Vets”, then you’ll be excited to learn that the ER docs are back in a new show, ”E-Vet Interns”. I think the show may have debuted tonight, but you’ll be able to find multiple re-airings and repeats of it if you missed it. I’m TiVo-ing it as incentive to walk on the treadmill—I’ll only watch it when I’m walking, or so I tell myself.
Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald of Emergency Vets will be here in Las Vegas doing a fund-raiser lunch during the Western Veterinary Conference. I’ve heard some of his stand-up, and I’m glad he’s kept his day job
I use TV series as my incentive to treadmill, too. I’ve been working through series after series of stuff I’ve missed over the past decade or so and ONLY get to watch when the treadmill is going with me on it. (No cheating and letting the thing run while I sit on the couch!)

Is Emergency Vet’s still shot all from Alameda East in Denver? I lived close, and took dogs there on three different occasions. They are brilliant with the emergency stuff.Posted by Carina on 02/06 at 02:28 PMI haven’t watched the show yet, but it looks at though it’s still at Alameda East. The doctors in the promos are the same.
I think Dr. Fitzgerald is pretty charming
He’ll be so thrilled to know that my lesbian brigade of one feels that way.
Posted by Leigh-Ann on 02/07 at 02:24 AMI really should watch more TV. Pretty much the only thing I watch these days is “24” because I think Keifer Sutherland is also a rather charming hunk of testosterone. LOL!
However a treadmill would be handy with the extreme cold weather we’re having. When the temps dip into “minus” category (and that’s not even counting wind chill) it’s just a tad too brisk to go for any sort of meaningful walkies!
Well you’re in sunny Vegas now, but I know you’re a Canadian so you’re well acquainted with this sort of cold weather.
It’s minus one right now. Yikes.Posted by Carina on 02/07 at 06:28 AM
